Hilton Garden Inn Wausau, WI

As always, we stay at the Hilton when we are skiing granite. We like to stay here, because the higher price kind of keeps out a lot of Riff raff. It is always clean, and comfortable. The location is excellent. I have no complaints about the hotel itself. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant seems to have lost a little quality. We got some dirty dishes, and there were bugs and dust and stuff in our water. But that was probably just because those containers probably just hadn't been used in a while. Just needed a rinsing. No big deal. I'm usually not one to complain, but that was my experience. Not really complaining. All the staff was really helpful and friendly. We came late, so the food on the buffet line was a little bit on the older side, but like I said we came late so I don't complain. Last weekend we stayed at another hotel in wausau, and it was yet another reminder why I like the Hilton the best.

Friendliness and helpfulness of staff, especially Seth, was outstanding. The cleanliness of room and facility was excellent. Mattresses were very comfortable and room was spacious. Easy to access from the interstate. Loved the exercise room, hot tub and swimming pool. The fireplaces and couches in the lobby and the restaurant/bar contributed to a relaxing atmosphere. Huge windows in the lobby, swimming pool, restaurant and room added to the ambience. Overall excellent stay!

Excellent place for families also trip with friends. Very clean modern style place, food was excellent, stuff super nice and helpful. Was no problem with anything.
